Precuations


Cases of Illegal Use

  • Downloading the Full text using electronic & mechanical means (downloading program, engine, robot, etc.)
  • Transmitting or duplicating the Full files for commercial purposes.
  • However, the service may not be available to specific users depending on the user’s current status (i.e., attendance status, overdue status, etc.)
  • Downloading the entire ISSUE (printing + copying/downloading the entire ISSUE (electronic resources) is illegal)
  • Acts of downloading the electronic resources that are hard to be seen as ‘individual use for academic purposes.

Library Guidelines for the Prevention of Illegal Use

About the download of electronic resources in this library
  • Less than 50 documents/day on the same PC
  • We are limiting the downloads of Full texts from the same publisher on the same PC to less than 30 documents/day.
  • When you provide your library ID to other users, all responsibilities will fall on you, so please pay SPECIAL attention to protecting your information/security.
  • Electronic resources are not available through any means other than the programs or network provided by the library.

Penalties in case of Illegal Use

  • Future library access rights (loan, access to electronic resources, etc.) will be restricted for one year.
  • In the event where a similar case is occurred by the same user, that user will be permanently banned from using the library, and will receive additional penalties according to the school regulations for seriously damaging the integrity/credibility of the school.
  • The user will take primary responsibility of the legal/economic disputes arising from the illegal use.

Legal Use of Electronic Resources

The electronic resources that are subscribed by this school shall be used according to the legal procedures, purposes, and means specified in domestic/foreign copyright laws and license agreements. Illegal use of these electronic resources will lead to legal/economical sanctions.
