The Cultural Information Archive is a museum-affiliated library that has been created to assist the academic activities of the museum & research activities. It owns more than 30,000 books related to history and art history. Also, it owns a Library Holdings of exhibition catalogues & major excavation reports published by museums and art galleries across the country.

How to Use

The Record Archive manages the historical records of the school, which are worth preserving permanently. We own historical records and publications published by Korea Univ. (starting from the establishment of Boseong College in 1905), and various records/publications about the modern & contemporary history of Korea.

▸Library Holdings : Total of 17,592 digital archive materials, including 1,500 book materials (school annals, graduation albums, etc.) (as of January 9, 2020) ▸Notable Materials/Publications : First Draft of the Constitution (Yoo Jin-oh, National Designated Record No. 1), Documents of the U.S Military Government (Ahn Jae-hong, National Designated Record No. 2), Handwriting & Relics of Jo Ji-hoon, Records/Materials related to the pro-democracy movements during the 70-80s (Professor Lee Moon-young), Research Notes of Dr. Lee Hwi-so (Theoretical Physicist), Research records of Hantavirus (Professor Lee Ho-wang), Research Records of Professor Chin Jung-il (Chemistry), Historical Records during the Open-door Period (Yoo Gil-joon), Relics of the late Lee Soo-hyeon, also known as the ‘Righteous Man.’
How to Use
▸The Library Holdings is open for use to anyone. However, users who wish to view the Library Holdings must fill out and submit the ‘Record/Material Use Application Form’ and visit the library in person. ▸Inquiries : Tel 02-3290-2772/2773

How to Use
▸Open Hours: Weekdays 09:30~17:30 (Lunchtime: 12:00~13:00) Open Hours are the same during the semester and vacation ▸Loan/Return: All materials in the Korean Studies Library can only be loaned to researchers who belong to the Research Institute of Korean Studies. Maximum Loan Period – 30 days, (can be extended once, 30 days) Users who do not belong to the Research Institute of Korean Studies can only view/copy the materials. ▸Other Services: Talk to the manager to use the scanner located inside the library ▸Inquiries : Tel 02-3290-2500
