[Academic Information] Launch of the Scholarly Information Curation Service (SICS) for Business Administration
Korea University’s Scholarly Information Curation Service (SICS) is an academic information curation system that has been developed and operated by the University Library as the first of its kind both in Korea and internationally.
SICS is a subject guide managed by the Library to support learning and research for scholars in each academic discipline. It collects, curates, and provides the latest academic research information that is widely dispersed, organizing it by field of study.
The service offers easy and convenient access to a wide range of discipline-specific resources essential for research, including specialized books, scholarly articles, database information, as well as Korea University theses, research reports, and other materials that help users understand current research trends.
As the first academic information curation service of its kind implemented by a single academic institution in Korea and abroad, SICS is built as a series of organically connected discipline- and subject-based platforms centered on a central information processing system. Currently, services for 25 academic disciplines are in operation.
In addition, a new Business Administration service has recently been launched.
