[General] Notice on Changes to the Library Annual Membership Fee Policy

The Library plans to revise its annual membership fee policy as outlined below so that graduates of the University (undergraduate and graduate programs) may use the Library free of charge for up to 3 years after graduation. Please refer to the following information for your use.

 

Details of the Revised Annual Membership Fee Policy

Exemption Period

3 years after graduation

- August 2023 graduates: 2023.08.25.~2026.08.31.

*After the exemption period expires, library use will be available only upon payment of the annual membership fee.

Effective Date

August 25, 2023

*The exemption will be applied automatically without a separate application process.

Available Services

Same services as annual membership fee users

- Book loans: Up to 10 items / 15 days (one renewal allowed)

- Facility use: Reading rooms, group study rooms, etc.

 * The following services are not available:

- Off-campus access to electronic resources

- Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

- Digital Delivery Service (DDS)

- Purchase request service

Due Date Adjustment for Materials Borrowed Before Graduation

If the due date of materials borrowed before graduation falls after August 25, the due date will be changed to August 25. Users must return the materials first and then re-borrow them according to the revised service scope.

 *Failure to return borrowed materials before graduation may result in restrictions on the issuance of various official certificates.
