o Speakers

•   Chris Harrison

Chris Harrison is Publishing Director for the Humanities and Social Sciences books programme. He has worked at Cambridge University Press for over twenty years after joining as an Economics editor from Pearson. He has a PhD in African history from the School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London. He is the author of a prize-winning monograph on African history based on his doctoral research that was published in Cambridge University Press’s African Studies series.

 

•   Daniel Pearce

As publishing director, Daniel is responsible for the editorial strategy for our portfolio of 260 peer review journals in the humanities and social sciences. He has worked in university press publishing for fifteen years, collaborating with a wide range of learned societies and academic institutions to develop journals that serve the humanities and social science community and seek to raise the profile, accessibility, and impact of research in these fields.
