Jack H. Wilmore(지은이)
텍사스 A&M대학교(Texas A&M University)의 석좌교수이자 건강 및 운동기능학과의 학과장이었으며 최근 퇴직했다. 그는 텍사스대학교(Austin)의 학과장이었고, 애리조나대학교 운동스포츠과학연구소 소장직을 1976년부터 1985년까지 맡았었다.
David L. Costill(지은이)
인디애나 주(Indiana State) 먼시(Muncie)의 볼주립대학교(Ball State University) 명예석좌교수(John and Janice Fisher Chair)이다. 그는 1966년 인간능력연구소(Himan Performance Laboratory)를 볼주립대학교에 설립하였으며, 32년 동안 소장직을 맡았었다.
