저자소개

대니얼 리버먼(지은이)

하버드대학교 인간진화생물학과 교수이자 개체및진화생물학과 겸임교수다. 우리 몸의 구조와 기능이 왜 그리고 어떻게 지금과 같이 진화했는지에 대해 광범위한 연구를 진행하고 있으며 특히 인간 두개골의 진화와 맨발 달리기에 관한 연구로 유명하다. 지금까지 100편이 넘는 논문을 발표했고 대부분이 《네이처》와 《사이언스》에 실렸다. 저서로는 『인간 머리의 진화(The Evolution of the Human Head)』가 있다.
