초록

The physical, mechanical, and morphological properties of the films are characterized to investigate the possibility of manufacturing soft-shell capsules. The film forming ability and the tensile strength that can be sustained without interruption are important. It should be noted that the film needs to be sealed by heat, and when formed using a die process molding machine, a relatively low viscosity must be maintained. The hydroxypropyl starches from different botanical sources were used to make films and verify film forming of them in order to confirm the possibility of producing starch based soft-shell capsules.
