Lee Kern(지은이)

University of South Florida에서 특수교육학 박사학위를 받았으며, 현재 Lehigh University의 특수교육과 교수로 재직하고 있다. 특수교육 분야에서 20년이 넘게 특수교사,행동전문가,자문가로 일했다. 관심 영역은 주로 사회적,정서적,행동적 요구를 지닌 학생들의 심각한 문제행동,기능진단,교육과정 중재 등이다. 이 분야에서 수많은 논문과 책을 집필하였으며, 행동 문제를 다루는 전략들을 연구하기 위하여 교육부와 국립정신건강연구소 등에서 연구비를 수혜하였다. 현재 Education and Treatment of Children, Journal of Behavioral Education, Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions의 부편집위원장을 맡고 있으며, 그 외에도 5개로 교육학 관련 학술지의 편집위원으로 일하고 있다.
