책소개

세계화 시대에 필요한 융.복합적 사고 능력과 창의력을 함양할 수 있도록 고전인문 읽기와 글쓰기를 연계하여 구성하였다. 동.서양의 고전 작품들을 통해 인류가 문명을 이루어 나가는 과정에서 정신적 발전을 이룬 사상적 토대를 조명 및 분석하고 미래에 대한 새로운 비전을 탐구하고자 하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다.

우주, 인간, 철학, 역사, 예술, 문학, 정치, 경제 등 다양한 분야의 고전 인문학의 원전을 읽으며 분석과 토론을 통해 논리적이면서 창의적인 사고 능력을 기를 수 있다. 글쓰기 작업을 통해 서로의 의견을 교환하고 자신의 생각을 글로 표현함으로써 비판적 사고능력과 합리적 소통능력을 키워갈 수 있다.

급변하는 세계정세 속 디지털 기술의 눈부신 혁신에 힘입어 지식혁명이라 불리는 지식기반사회를 맞이하게 되었습니다. 새로운 지식창출이 요구되는 사회에서 앞으로 다가올 미래사회 변화에 대처하기 위해 준비해야 하는 것들에 대한 진지한 고민이 필요한 때입니다.
