앨릭스 코브(지은이)

세계적인 신경과학자이자 우울증 전문가. 15년 넘게 우울증을 ‘뇌 과학’의 품에서 연구해왔다. 브라운 대학교에서 뇌 과학을 전공했으며, UCLA에서 뇌 과학으로 박사학위를 받았다. 우울증을 주제로 박사학위 논문을 썼으며 우울증과 뇌 과학의 연관 관계를 다룬 과학 논문과 기사를 다수 발표해왔다. 현재 UCLA 정신의학과에서 연구 활동 중이며 글로벌 생명공학기업들에 과학 컨설팅을 하고 있다. <사이콜로지투데이>에 뇌 과학과 감정에 관한 칼럼을 연재했으며, 저서로 《우울할 땐 뇌 과학》이 있다.
