Author Introduction
E. Bruce Goldstein(지은이)
피츠버그 대학교 심리학과 명예 부교수이며 애리조나 대학교 심리학과 겸임교수이다. 강의와 교재 집필의 공을 인정받아 피츠버그 대학교 최우수 강의상을 수상했다. Goldstein 교수는 터프스 대학교에서 화공학 학사를 받았고, 브라운 대학교에서 실험심리학으로 박사를 받았다. 이어서 하버드 대학교 생물학과에서 박사 후 연수과정을 밟고, 피츠버그 대학교 교수가 되었다. Goldstein 교수는 망막과 피질 생리학, 시각적 주의, 그리고 그림 지각 등 다방면에서 논문을 발표하였다. 그는 『감각과 지각』9판(Wadsworth/Cengage, 2014)을 저술하였고, Blackwell Handbook of Perception(Blackwell, 2001)과 두 권으로 된 Sage Encyclopedia of Perception(Sage, 2010)의 편집을 맡았다.
