Brian Tomlinson(지은이)

외국어 학습 교재 개발 분야의 세계적인 전문가 중 한 명으로, 싱가포르, 일본, 인도네시아, 나이지리아, 영국 등지에서 교사, 교원 연수 과정 교사, 커리큘럼 개발자, 대학 교수로 일했다. 또한 비영리 국제기구인 교재개발협회(MATSDA)의 설립자 겸 회장이다. 저서로는, 단 저로 Materials Development in Language Teaching (Cambridge University Press: 1998, 2011), Developing Materials for Language Teaching (Continuum:2003), English Language Learning Materials: A Critical Review (Continuum:2008) 등이 있고, 공저로 Research for Materials Development in Language Learning (Continuum:2010), Applied Linguistics and Materials Development (Continuum: 2012) 등이 있다.
