피터 레빈(지은이)
현 터프츠대학교 정치학과, 전 메릴랜드대학교 ‘시민학습 참여정보 연구센터’ 부소장 겸 ‘철학과 공공정책 연구소’ 연구 교수. ‘숙의 민주주의 컨소시엄’ 집행위원, 찰스 케터링 재단 이사, ‘학교의 시민적 임무를 위한 캠페인’ 집행위원장 등으로 활동하며, 젊은이들의 민주주의 참여 운동과 인터넷의 시민 참여적 이용에 주로 관심을 가지고 일하고 있다. 저서로 《새로운 진보의 시대: 공정하고 숙의하는 민주주의를 향해The New Progressive Era: Toward a Fair and Deliberative Democracy》가 있다.
