UCLA에서 임상심리학 박사학위를 취득하였으며, 현재 캘리포니아 뉴포트비치에 있는 인지치료센터의 설립자이며 운영자다. 자격증을 갖춘 심리학자로 심리학 건강서비스 국립제공처에 등재되어 있다. 또한 캘리포니아 대학교(얼바인 캠퍼스) 정신의학과 인강행동부서의 임상 조교수로 재직 중이다.
