줄리아 크리스테바(지은이)
언어와 주체, 그리고 사랑을 인간 실존의 근본 문제로 제기하는 정신분석학자, 기호학자, 언어학자이다. 현재는 파리7대학 명예교수로 재직 중이다. 1970년대 초부터 한나 아렌트, 멜라니 클라인, 콜레트의 작품들을 통해 여성의 정체성 문제를 다루어왔다. 특히 자기 정체성 안의 타자성을 지적하는데, 시적 언어·모성 담론·정신분석을 통해 자신의 이론을 더욱 확장시켰다. 지은 책으로는 『검은 태양』, 『시적 언어의 혁명』, 『공포의 권력』, 『사랑의 역사』, 『미친 진실』, 『비잔틴 살인 사건』, 『새로운 영혼의 병』, 『포세시옹, 소유라는 악마』, 『여성과 성스러움』, 『언어, 그 미지의 것』, 『정신병, 모친살해, 그리고 창조성 : 멜라니 클라인』, 『사랑의 정신분석』 등이 있다.
