브루스 빔버(지은이)
미국 캘리포니아대학교의 정치학과와 커뮤니케이션학과 교수이자 정보기술과 사회 연구센터(Center for Information Technology and Society) 소장이다. 젊은 시절 휴렛패커드와 랜드(RAND)연구소 등에서 근무했고, 스탠퍼드대학교에서 전자공학사(1983), MIT에서 정치학 박사 학위(1992)를 받았으며, 캘리포니아대 나노기술센터 운영위원을 맡은 바도 있는 등 과학.정보기술 분야의 경력을 갖춘 이색적인 정치학자이다.
