성기완(지은이)

홍익대학교 영어교육학과를 졸업하고 수년간 고등학교 영어교사로 재직했다. 미국 펜실베이니아 주립대학교에서 TESOL 석사 및 영어교육 박사학위를 받았다. 2005년 현재 경희대학교 외국어대학 영어학과 교수로 재직중이며, 한국외국어교육학회 학술.연구이사, 한국영상영어학회 이사, 한국 번역가 협회 정회원으로 활동하고 있다. 지은 책으로 <비판적 영어교육과 의사소통능력> 등이, 옮긴 책으로 <디즈니 순수함과 거짓말>, <버거의 상징> 등이 있다.
