Philip C. Kendall(엮은이)
미국 전문심리학협회 이사인 Philip C. Kendall 박사는 Laura H. Carnell 교수이자 템플 대학교 심리학과의 저명한 교수로 아동·청소년 불안장애 클리닉의 소장이다. Kendall 박사는 35년간 연구자, 학자, 임상가로 일해 왔다. 그의 공헌은 아동·청소년 불안장애 치료에 대한 초창기 작업, 인지행동 이론과 평가 및 치료, 연구방법론, 그리고 아동·청소년 정신병리와 치료에 대한 개념화와 이해 등을 포함한다. 그는 30권 이상의 저서와 20개 이상의 치료 매뉴얼과 워크북을 포함하여 450편 이상을 출판하였다. 아동·청소년을 위한 코핑 캣 프로그램과 같은 그의 치료는 수십 가지 언어로 번역되었고, 여러 기관으로부터 20년 이상 계속해서 연구비 지원을 받아 왔다. 그는 모든 사회과학과 의학 분야에서 가장 ‘많이 인용되는’ 사람 중 한 명이며, 임상심리학 분야에서 미국심리학회에서 승인한 157개 프로그램의 모든 교수 회원의 추천으로 최근의 양적 분석 출판물에서 다섯 번째 순위에 올랐다.
