저자소개

리처드 브라운(지은이)

메릴랜드 주 볼티모어 소재 존스홉킨스대학 수학과 교수이며 학과장이다. 동역학 시스템을 이용하여 곡면의 위상수학적 기하학적 속성을 연구하는 등의 활동을 한다. 구체적으로, 위상수학적 변형이 공간의 기하학에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 연구한다. 또한 대학 학부에서 수학 교육의 효율성을 높이고 중등학교 수학에서 대학교 수학으로 이행하느라 애를 먹는 학생들을 돕기 위한 연구도 한다.
